- Your eyelids have a darker color than the rest of your face so the color will not stay true to the package.
- Your eyelids may be oily. Oily skin can make any color look blotchy and darker.
- Your eyes may be deep-set. That is my problem. My when I open my eyes, if I don't apply the product correctly, all of the
color is lost.
We can solve all of thes problems very easily:
- Before you apply eye shadow, make sure your eye area has been properly cleansed.
- Then after your eye lid is dry, apply
a concealer to the entire eye. This will brighten up the eyelid. Some suggest using powder to set the concealer.
If you use our concealer, you shouldn't need any powder as our concealer dries matte on your eye lid.
- Now you should be able to apply the shadows and have them retain their true colors.
If your eyes are deep-set, lighten the top portion of your eye lid, just below the brow, with a lighter color and then
apply a medium to darker color to the middle of the eye lid. This will brighten your eyes and help them stand out beautifully.
I suggest using either the Lilac Mist or Candlelight for the upper part of the lid and any of the other four darker colors:
Moca Java, MulBerry, Mystic Moss or Ebony Essence for the middle of your eye. You can also use the lighter color as an eye liner. Use a
fine brush and apply a very small line of Lilac Mist or Candelight just above the eye lashes. Follow with
EyeSense™ Eye Liner.
